Below is the procedure for Jury Duty and Election Duty:


Employees are paid for their regular shift when absent from work to attend Jury Duty or Election Duty.  Those hours are NOT entered on the time card, as the time card is for worked hours only; the hours are processed manually by the Payroll Analysts.


1-Employee submits summons or confirmation of attendance to manager for scheduling planning purposes

If employee does not serve on jury duty or election duty, no additional action is needed.



2-If employee attends jury/election duty, managers should submit paper time adjustment form/s to HRSC. Manager also provides missed shift information (if hourly) in the following format:    


Date - Missed Shift Start time - Missed Shift End time


3- The information received will be forwarded to Payroll.
